The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), in collaboration with the Police Service Commission (PSC), has announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 nationwide Nigeria Police Force Recruitment 2025/2026 recruitment exercise for the position of police constables (NPFApplication). The process is free, transparent, and merit-based and open to both general duty and specialist applicants across all states in Nigeria.
Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Portal Categories
- General Duty: Regular Police Constables.
- Specialists: Roles in medical, transport, EOD–CBRN, K9, mounted troop, marine, artisan, tailoring, communication, IT, and band units.
Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Portal Eligibility
- Nigerian by birth, good character, mentally/physically fit, no criminal record.
- Age: 18–25 (General Duty), 18–28 (Specialists).
- Height: Male ≥ 1.67 m, Female ≥ 1.64 m.
- Male chest measurement: ≥ 86 cm.
- Must provide 2 referees; female applicants must not be pregnant during application/training.
Qualifications
- General Duty: 5 credits (max 2 sittings) in WAEC/NECO/GCE, including English and Mathematics.
- Specialists: 4 credits + minimum 3 years relevant experience; upload trade/professional certificates (drivers must upload a valid license).
